Media Reviews

"Starred Review. Kinney's spot-on humor and winning formula of deadpan text set against cartoons are back in full force." - Publishers Weekly

"His witty voice coupled with memorable characterization will have this offering flying off the shelves." - School Library Journal

"Once again, Kinney remains unerringly attuned to the tween psyche as he packs in rapid-fire experiences in words and cartoons that are bust-a-gut funny, beg-to-stay-home-from-school mortifying, and completely authentic in all their ugly truths. Grades 5-8" - Booklist

Good book
This book is absolutely amazing and funny. I love it so much and I started reading the series about 6 months ago and I just finished this book. I would say the reading level is pretty good, its not to hard or too easy for a 10 year old fifth grader like me, its also pretty good for fourth graders too. This book made me laugh so much and I read whenever I am bored even though I kind of hate reading. This series made me change my opinion about reading, I Love it. I recommend the other books in this series too even though I haven't read them yet, I can tell the'll be as good as this one. All the funny situations are really relatable. Also you will LOVE this book if you are the type of person who likes to read graphic novels that the character has crushes and stuff like that. Greg Heffley you are full of humor and entertaining. :) ??
